Michelangelo Sabatino, Professor of Professor of Architectural History and Cultural Heritage at Illinois Institute of Technology and Scott Mehaffey, Edith Farnsworth House Executive Director and Curator, in conversation with Lord Peter Palumbo, second owner of the Edith Farnsworth House (1971-2003) about his stewardship of architecturally significant heritage properties from the 1970s to the present. Lady Hayat Palumbo will also join the discussion. From the 1970s to the present, including Mies van der Rohe’s “Edith Farnsworth House,” Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Kentuck Knob,” and Le Corbusier’s “Maissons Jaoul.” Lady Hayat Palumbo has also played an active role in these properties since marrying Peter in 1986.  Like all couples, the Palumbo’s will sometimes disagree, but this makes for a lively discussion!

If you’re a “Farns Fan” and have ever wanted the inside track on the Palumbo years, this is your opportunity! This program is presented via Zoom with time for live questions following the presentation.  All registrants will receive a Zoom access link via email 24 hours prior to the webinar.
